This Privacy Policy explains how Fliksy collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our service. We value your privacy and aim to be clear about our practices.

We collect account information you provide (email, username, display name, bio, avatar), content you upload or generate, and usage information such as how you interact with the feed, posts you like, and comments you write. We may also collect basic technical information like IP addresses and browser type for security purposes.
2. How we use your information
We use your information to operate and improve Fliksy, personalise your experience, maintain platform security, and communicate with you about updates or important changes to the service. We do not use your content to train AI models.
3. Storage and security
Media files are stored in encrypted cloud storage (AWS S3 with AES-256 server-side encryption). Account data is stored in a secured database. We use HTTPS for all data in transit. While we take security seriously, no system is completely immune to risk.
4. Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We may share limited data with service providers who help us run the platform (hosting, storage, email) under appropriate data processing agreements. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of users.
5. Your choices
You can delete any post you own at any time. You can update your profile information in Settings. To request full account deletion, contact us — we will remove your personal data within a reasonable timeframe. Some anonymised logs and backups may be retained for security and legal compliance.
6. Cookies
Fliksy uses minimal cookies and local storage necessary for authentication (session tokens) and user preferences. We do not use third-party advertising cookies or tracking pixels.
7. Children
Fliksy is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us so we can remove it.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will indicate the date of the most recent update at the top of this page. Continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
